Fanworks We Think Are Cool

About
This is a list of fanworks that either I use and enjoy, or have been recommended to me by friends of the podcast! Works from the Fanstuck episodes are, of course, also included, outside of those that are incomplete and abandoned.
Archives
Disclaimer: Archives are not completely neutral, all-encompassing resources. They are made by individuals or groups, and some may have more rules about their curation than others. I will note any information I am already aware of or find out about the decisions made in creating these archives.
To be clear, having standards for an archive isn't an inherently a bad thing; there's a lot out there to be archived! However, it's still good to understand the decision-making process behind archives, even if there was no additional personal bias.
Homestuck.net

Homestuck.net is the best collection of archived fanworks, including videos, comics, assets, resources, etc. It also has or links to archives of Hussie's old news posts, blog, formspring, and other official bonus material. Generally, if you want a Homestuck rabbit hole to go down, this is the place to go.
Homestuck Music Wiki
Originally created as a recreation of Homestuck's original Bandcamp, it's now expanded to become a catalogue for fanmusic as well.
The Unofficial Homestuck Collection

The Unofficial Homestuck Collection is the best way to read Homestuck. It preserves all of the flash elements, lets you read as a new reader rather than as an archive reader (very important since the story ends up causing some old pages to change!), and has a bunch of features, added by Bambosh and Gio, the original creators and maintaners, as well as mods added by fans. Some of these features include accessibility options, as well as removing outdated slurs and other terminology. It also has more works than just Homestuck on it, and is truly a fantastic resource.
However, as of writing, the UHC was served a takedown notice, as explained in great detail on Gio's blog, as well as extremely briefly summarized in my episode about it in which I get very distracted by explaining clown gender.
The link provided here for the UHC is a page on Homestuck.Net about how you can read Homestuck, including how you can still access the UHC outside of the Homestuck Github fork.

Stargate: Alternia

A 2.6 million word series that ran from October, 2017 until August, 2024. While it initially and primarily is a cross-over between Stargate and Hiveswap, ended up incorporating many, many other crossovers due to fun multi-verse shennanigans.
While the series is, perhaps, dauntingly long, I highly recommend at least reading Act 0: Inciting Incidents, which is a much more approachable 2.7k words.
Nonfiction
Gio's Blog

While not entirely Homestuck, it's home to a lot of great posts related to it, and not just the more, perhaps, infamous ones, which I still highly encourage you to read.
And, hey! Just because it's not all Homestuck, doesn't mean there won't be other posts that catch your eye! Just a solid collection of posts on top of a detailed breakdown of, well, the Hiveswap Fiasco.
